Realtime reporting streams the court reporter's transcript to your laptop or tablet as it's typed — typically with a delay of just a few seconds. You can scroll, search, annotate, and mark passages while the deposition is still in progress.

What devices and software do I need?

Any modern laptop or tablet works. We'll set you up with a connection on the day — wired LAN, local Wi-Fi, or remote streaming over the internet — and walk you through the realtime viewer software, free of charge.

Can my client or expert join from another city?

Yes. Realtime text and/or video can be streamed to any computer or video-conferencing suite anywhere in the world. Remote attendees can read the live transcript and send confidential notes back to your team in the room.

Is the realtime feed secure?

Yes. Streams are protected with personalized credentials and SSL encryption. The confidential notes channel is private to your side — opposing counsel cannot see it.

How do I add realtime to a deposition?

Tell us when you book the job, or call us up to 24 hours before. Realtime is available on most depositions; we'll quote it based on the number of receivers and whether you need streaming to remote attendees.
